Bed and Breakfast Description

Our country Inn provides a wonderful ‘base camp’ setting for avid hikers and casual sightseers, as well as a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere for those who want to escape the clamor of the city, or rest after a day or three of hiking. The weary traveler is advised to soak up sun by the pool, doze in a hammock under the apple trees, or relax and watch the goldfish play in the pond. We understand, though, if you would rather be out hiking. We know that nearby there are many wondrous sights to see and a multitude of trails beckoning for you to follow. But when you come back from the parks, or a guided horseback ride or 4x4 tour, you are welcome to pamper yourself in the Jacuzzi, then relax in our dining room while our chef prepares a Southwestern Chicken Cordon Blue with Roasted Raspberry Chipotle Sauce, or Steak Sonora with carmelized onions and peppers and freshly baked tortillas, or Maple Glazed Salmon with Red Wine Sauce - all served with homemade Shepherd's bread.

After dinner, walk in our gardens or select a movie from our library and watch it in the privacy of your room. In the morning, wake up to the aroma of fresh coffee; strawberry cheese blintzes; fluffy pancakes topped with syrup, peaches, blueberries or raspberries; bacon and eggs; apricot and almond muffins; or ham and cheese and mushroom frittatas, to name just a few of Jane’s daily breakfasts specialties.

3 National Parks - The North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Zion Canyon, and Bryce Canyon - are all within 100 miles of our centrally located B&B. Several State Parks are nearby as well, making our B&B the ideal base for avid hikers and sightseers. Many guests stay a week or longer, visiting a different attraction each day, and enjoying the horseback riding, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, bird watching, history, and water sports available in the area. Not to mention Jane's breakfasts and Laura's dinners...

The private Cottonwood Cabin offers 500 sq. ft. of living space, a full kitchen, fireplace, private porch, Queen size bed, and spectacular views of the White Cliffs, and is only a stone's throw from the creek that moseys past on its way to Zion Canyon.

The Orchard Cabin, tucked away in our quaint apple orchard, offers a comfortable king-size bed, Southwestern decor, cozy fireplace, living room with queen size roll-out couch, mini-kitchen, and beautiful views of the White Cliffs.
