Escape to more than 10 private acres and leave the rat race behind, retreating to a hidden paradise while also remaining convenient to shopping, golfing, bayfront parks with fishing piers and walking paths, restaurants, museums, popular attractions and gulf beaches. It is also centrally located between the airports in Mobile, Ala., and Pensacola, Fla.

A focal point of the grounds is a picturesque spring-fed pond. Don't be surprised if you see a great blue heron, geese, ducks, fox, raccoon or other wildlife taking advantage of the surroundings. There are two park benches positioned on a nearby rise overlooking the pond, providing a tranquil place to reflect and relax. Or relax in the breezy shade of the gazebo or on the hammock under the trees.

Don't think that staying at a bed-and-breakfast is just for when you're on vacation. Business travelers will find all the necessary services and amenities so they can work while also pampering themselves with a home environment for more relaxed productivity. (Special weekday rates are available for business travelers.

Fairhope is a secluded, enchanting village on the eastern shore of Mobile Bay. A town boasting five blocks of specialty stores, art galleries, antique shops and cafes. Street corners and hanging baskets bloom all year long.

Area Activities Include golf, swimming, jogging, biking and walking trails, nature hikes, gulf and bay beaches, boating/sailing, fishing, horseback riding, picnic areas, museums, historic sites and attractions, art galleries, Mardi Gras, art and music festivals, community and state parks, all just for starters.

Grand Master: This luxury suite has a king bed, a sofa, a leather recliner, large TV/VCR/DVD. The luxury bathroom has two sink areas and a separate bathing area with a deep garden tub, walk-in shower, heated floors and mirrored walls with candle accents.

Garden Room: This extra romantic room is tucked away at ground level with its own outside entrance. The room has a wonderful view of the spring-fed pond, a private patio, refrigerator and hot drink center.

Reservation Notes:

A deposit of 50% will be processed before final reservation confirmation is provided by the innkeepers, with the balance due seven days ahead of arrival. (Reservations made seven days or less ahead of arrival will be charged in full.) Cancellations at any time are subject to a processing fee of $30 or 4% of the total, whichever is greater. Cancellations within 7 days (14 days for holidays and special-event dates) are the responsibility of the reservation guarantor for any room nights not rebooked to other guests. However, even if all room nights are rebooked, the $30 minimum fee with still apply.
