Bed and Breakfast Description

Easton, Maryland bed and breakfast: Easton's Promise

Built in 1890, Easton's Promise was recently expanded to a total of 4,500 square feet. This Italianate-style home showcases high ceilings, spacious rooms, and elegant furnishings.

Five captivating guestrooms with en suite bathrooms are available to accommodate your desire for comfort and privacy. Three of our guestrooms are on the ground floor. Four rooms have queen beds and one has 2 twin beds, which can also be made into a king.

Breakfast is served in the red dining room or if you prefer to sleep late, a continental basket with hot coffee, tea, or cocoa, home-style orange juice, and breads or muffins will be delivered to your door.

Eggs benedict or florentine, Belgian blueberry waffles, and Welsh Rarebit are some of the many delicious entrees that you can expect each morning, served on fine china, silver flatware, and crystal. A first course of fruit and a final course of a morning dessert start the day in a grand way.

Sip a cool drink on the screened porch or in our hidden garden. The 50-year old boxwoods and mature trees soften the modern conveniences of the centrally air conditioned home. Watch for Easton’s Barred owl in the Garden, recreated from that of the 1950s owner, Elvira Purdy. Lucky will be happy to play ball.
