Your choice may include a light and healthful selection such as our signature Stonebow Inn Premium Granola served with either low-fat milk or plain yogurt, combined with fresh fruit salad or a warm poached fruit compote, or you may allow yourself a vacation extravagance and continue with such delicious choices as Grand Mariner French Toast drizzled with Garrett County Maple Syrup or Black Forest Baked Eggs - baked cups of ham filled with mushrooms, sour cream, fresh farm eggs, parmesan cheese and chopped tarragon. We delight in coming up with new and flavorful breakfast dishes year-round, so relax and enjoy a special and leisurely start to the morning in the mountains of western Maryland.

    Activities our inn guests enjoy: Trout fishing on the Casselman River right on the property; visiting the artisan village across the street (May-October); a ride on the Maryland Scenic Railroad or a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater. Downhill skiing at Wisp Ski Resort; cross-country ski at New Germany State Park.

    Area activities for your enjoyment: Swallow Falls and 5 other state parks. Kayaking and whitewater rafting on the Youghiogheny or Ohiopyle Rivers. Biking, canoeing, cross country skiing, horseback riding, championship golf course, auctions, antique shopping, farmers markets, fall foliage, arts and crafts festivals, historic sites.

    Stanton Suite: Second floor room in the restored Victorian House. Private bath with tub/shower, sitting room with Franklin-stove style fire. Victorian style queen bed with locally made Amish quilt. Very elegant and private.
