Bed and Breakfast Description

The Sarah Bousefield House, built in 1883, is the perfect place to relax in comfort while enjoying luxuries of the past. The Stone Gables Bed and Breakfast occupies half of this magnifient 12,000 square foot mansion. The 12 foot ceilings, many fireplaces and an abundance of antiques create the feel of a bygone era.

Have an elegant gourmet breakfast in the dining room, which is accented by an Art Nouveau court cabinet and serving buffet. Breakfast may include one of the owners recipes such as dark chocolate waffles with Frangelica cream and hot fudge, carrot cake waffles, French toast or fresh berry crumb cake.

It is about one mile to downtown Cleveland, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Indians and Browns Stadium, Great Lakes Science Center and OmniMax Theatre, the Flats, PlayHouse Square and the Warehouse district are all within 2 miles of Stone Gables.

The Cleveland Clinic is an easy 12 minute drive from Stone Gables. Cedar Point is only an hour away.

Most Popular Rooms:

Yellow Room: This room features a king sized tiara mahogany bed and a deluxe pillowtop mattress. The bathroom has a 6 foot whirlpool/shower that accommodates two people, with fluffy towels, bath salts and candles for romance.

Blue Room: A uniquely decorated room mixing Federal blue walls and mahogany Federal furniture. This spacious room has a king sized Select Comfort bed, writing desk, dresser and bathroom with shower.
