Bed and Breakfast Description

We are located in the scenic town of Huntington, Vermont. Come and enjoy miles of running, hiking, mountain biking, or well-groomed cross-country skiing trails. We are a family-friendly inn, with our large trail network starting right at our doorstep.

If you're looking for an active vacation with great trails, hospitality, and hearty homemade breakfasts, Sleepy Hollow is the place for you.

Guests are treated to a hearty homemade breakfast each morning as well as complementary trail passes. Unwind at night in our new wood-fired sauna located next to our swimming pond. Simply request a time for your sauna, and we'll have it hot for you (holds up to eight).

Our favorite menus include Vermont milled whole wheat blueberry pancakes served with a fresh fruit salad and Harrington's cob-smoked bacon, or our cinnamon French toast served with a fresh fruit plate and Harrington's sausage links. All of our food is prepared fresh and served family-style.

Relax at night with one of our hundreds of books available to guests. Dave Enman, co-proprietor, runs a used book store in his spare time and brings home unique treasures every week. Vermont history buffs will especially delight in our collection.

Sleepy Hollow Inn, Ski and Bike Center is only 30 minutes from Burlington, and 40 minutes to Stowe, making Sleepy Hollow a great central location to experience all Northern Vermont has to offer.

Sleepy Hollow is a fantastic day-use cross-country ski and mountain bike facility, offering over 30 km of well groomed skiing trails. We also have over 20km of snowshoeing trails. In the summer, our intermediate and expert mountain biking single track will challenge and inspire you.

We are located just a mile from the Green Mountain Audubon Nature Center and the Birds of Vermont Museum. Vermont Teddy Bear Factory, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, Echo Center Lake Aquarium and Science Center on the lakefront.

Most Popular Rooms:

Ethan Allen Suite: The first room of the suite has a fold-out couch, along with a large closet. The second room holds a beautiful queen bed and wooden furniture. The Ethan Allen room has a full bath, and great views of our Liberty Meadow trail and pond.

Ira Allen: Endowed with a queen sized bed, a private bath, and a large storage closet. Ira Allen is a smaller sized room, yet cozy and charming with a unique fisherman decor.
