This antique-filled, Italianate-style home was built by William Simpson, one of the early settlers and businessmen in Sandusky. Wagner's 1844 Inn is located in the historic Old Plat Area and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This elegantly renovated 1844 vintage bed and breakfast features all the grace and pleasant solitude of the past, along with modern conveniences.
Wagner's 1844 Inn is open year-round for your vacation and travel accommodations. In the morning you will be served a continental-plus breakfast that includes homemade baked goods and fresh fruit. You may dine in the formal elegance of the dining room, relax in the casual atmosphere of the screened-in porch, or enjoy the fresh air in the enclosed courtyard. In the winter, linger over coffee in front of the cozy fireplace in the antique-filled parlor. There is even a billiard room with a television for your recreational pleasure.
