Area Attractions and Activities:
The Annapolis Inn is nestled among many historic homes, buildings and architectural points of interest open to the public. Visit the State Capital, circa 1772, the Naval Academy, founded in 1845, St. John's College, the 3rd oldest in the nation or the harbor where Kunta Kinte first stepped foot on American soil.
There are walking tours, boat tours and motorcoach tours to take you to many of these sites and more. There are secret garden tours, haunted house tours (at Halloween), civic and cultural events to enjoy. Sail on the Chesapeake! Take sailing lessons, charter your own boat or enjoy a sunset cruise. Why not hit the golf courses during the day? At night live entertainment and fine restaurants abound, and so does excellent seafood, especially crab cakes, an Annapolis specialty.
Shopping for antiques and specialty items or browsing through fine art galleries is another way to spend the day. Stop at a pub or a cafe afterward. All of this is just steps away from our Inn.
