Le Vatout B&B

Waldoboro, Maine.

Le Vatout is part of a sprawling farmhouse anchored in the granite landscape right where the Medomac River meets the ocean and the tide laps at the waterfall twice a day. Cozy, low-key and completely relaxed.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Waldoboro, Maine bed and breakfast: Le Vatout B&B

A traditional New England farmhouse, it’s become our personal artists' retreat; its rooms are filled with music, paintings and photographs, and books beckon wherever there’s space. But all life around here congregates in the kitchen – at Le Vatout the hearth is at the center, it is its heart.

Whether you crave the quiet pleasure of a cup of tea and a bowl of fresh fruit on the porch, favor a communal breakfast of paper-thin buckwheat pancakes served at the dining table flooded with sun or simply want to hang out at the kitchen island, dig into a crabmeat omelet and chat, at Le Vatout everything’s just different enough to delight.
