![]() Our lovely gardens, stunning views, tastefully appointed rooms and delicious full breakfasts will inspire and rejuvenate your body and soul. Located in the foothills of Las Barrancas ("deep ravines" in Spanish), our home is the perfect place to view the setting sun on the pink and ochre colored mesas of this famous landmark which is our inn's namesake. We were recently featured in the 1/2008 New Mexico magazine article on environmentally friendly B&Bs and take great care to balance total guest comfort with lowering our impacts on the earth. Curl up with a book near one of our kiva fireplaces and let the tensions of the everyday world melt away. After a day-hike at a nearby Pueblan ruin, or a full day of gallery hopping in Santa Fe, soak those tired muscles in our hillside hot tub while star gazing under some of the darkest, clearest skies you can possibly imagine. The adobe offers 4 rooms of varying size and amenities for your visit. We've decorated each room with an eclectic mix of art, furniture and eye-pleasing color combinations. Each bed is covered with high thread count linens, down comforters in the winter and enough plush pillows to suit your individual sleeping style. Each guest room has an AM/FM clock radio, bedside reading lamps, and a place to sit and relax. Our reception lounge has a large kiva fireplace, equipale couch and chairs and an unassuming stereo. A guest telephone, fax machine and free wireless Internet access is available throughout the inn Area Attractions and Activities: Northern New Mexico is a year-round all-seasons destination for visitors and it offers something for everyone. From local art tours and the Santa Fe Opera to Bandalier National Monument, Hacienda las Barrancas is the perfect launching pad for your visit to Northern New Mexico. From our door we are an easy drive to Abiquiu and the area immortalized by Georgia O'Keeffe. We are just 3 miles from the start of the High Road to Taos. For outdoor enthusiasts, there are miles of hiking trails, fishing streams, ski resorts and whitewater rafting. Surrounded by cultural, natural and historical attractions, your choices for daily activities abound. We can recommend many excellent New Mexican and other local restaurants just minutes away for your evening's dining pleasure. A short 20-25 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe on newly improved highway offers easy access to world-class dining, the arts, entertainment and shopping. Services: Fax, wireless Internet Most Popular Rooms: Pajarito is our most popular room with its wood-burning kiva fireplace, sitting chairs, king sized bed, beautifully tiled bathroom with deep carved hand painted cabinet fronts and easy access to our outdoor hot tub. The Juniper suite is our largest and most spacious offering. Its very large tiled bathroom, Swedish coil mattress, comfortable sitting area, huge picture window overlooking our rock garden and tasteful decor make it a perfect choice for total relaxation |
