Welcome from your hosts Dennis & Dianne Debelak.

The Homespun Country Inn was built at the turn of the century by Frank & Alma Brown. Mr. Brown chose the quarter-sawn oak that fills our entry and first floor common rooms. Stained glass and leaded glass windows give a prism effect on sunny mornings.

Early morning coffee and flavored teas are served in the dining room at 7:30 a.m. You can enjoy the early morning hours on our porch swing, where you may catch a passing horse and buggy. A full breakfast is served in the dining room at 8:30 a.m.

Offering 5 guest rooms with private baths. Each room is individually decorated and photos of the original occupants from 1902 are displayed in the rooms. Enjoy two parlors on the main floor, read, work on the on-going jigsaw puzzle, or watch a movie or satellite TV. We have filled our home with antiques and family pieces to make your stay comfortable. Let us know if you have any special needs.

It is just one block to downtown where guests will find unique antique malls and specialty shops. The Homespun Country Inn is located just one mile east of Dutch Village and Amish Acres and 35 minutes from Notre Dame and Shipshewana.

Most Popular Rooms:

Frank & Alma Brown's Room: Named for the original owners, is located on the 2nd floor. Has a queen size bed, TV/VCR, private bath with dressing table. Decorated in lavender and sea foam green.

Sally's Room: Named for the Brown's granddaughter, is located on the 3rd floor. Has a queen size bed, sitting area with pullout sofa, TV/VCR, private bath. Decorated in rose floral patterns.
