Gracious 1850 Gothic Revival cottage situated on 4 acres of lawn, overlooking Wachusett Reservoir. Only 10 minutes to Worcester.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Cool in summer with high ceilings, window & ceiling fans, spot A/C as needed; warm in winter with each room setting their own temperature. Each room is newly redecorated. The entire inn is seasonally updated. Two rooms have king beds, two have double beds, and one has two twin beds. Two efficiency apartments available for long-term guests that are tastefully and completely applianced and furnished; phones and cable TV. A private conference room is also available.

All rooms are furnished with antique patchwork quilts, interior shutters, fluffy towels and decorations reminiscent of New England a century ago.

Homemade breakfast each morning might include fruit muffins, coffee cake, hearty eggs and bacon or sausage, French toast, or our special bacon-cheddar quiche.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Family YMCA, many malls, lakes, movie house, pool, library, golf, fishing, bike, & walking trails, hiking. Ski Wachusett Mt., many restaurants w/in 10 minute drive, history, aquarium, art, and armor.

The Suite: Only room on 1st floor, extra large king size stained glass, 4 windows, 12 ft. ceiling, wide board floor, white iron and brass full bed with new "pillow top mattress," lighted walk-in closet, antique quilt, full bath, & Oriental rug.

Rose: has wide pipe brass full bed, Yankee: nautical room with full bed, New Englander: two twin beds
