 Cristiana Guesthaus, a cozy B&B is the perfect lodging choice for your Crested Butte vacation. Conveniently located just one block north of Elk Avenue and the main business district, the lodge is a short walk to shops and restaurants and about 50 yards from the free shuttle to Crested Butte Mountain and to the Nordic ski center. Hiking and mountain biking trails are also easily accessible. Built in the early 1960s as the first lodge for the new ski area, the Cristiana owes its heritage to the ski lodges of Europe. A large stone fireplace in the cozy lobby invites guests to sit back, relax, and relive the day’s adventures - whether on the ski slopes or exploring the surrounding mountains. Each morning we serve a generous continental breakfast featuring our homemade granola and muesli or hot oatmeal, fresh fruit with yogurt, and a delicious selection of freshly baked pastries, along with juices, coffee, a selection of teas and other hot drinks. The lodge also has a sauna, sitting area with television, and bike/ski storage. For the comfort of our guests smoking is not permitted in the lodge or the guest rooms and we do not accept pets. On the north side of the lodge our outdoor hot tub offers a great spot to unwind with its beautiful views of Crested Butte Mountain and the Elk Mountain Range, whilst the south facing sundeck is an ideal place to watch the sun set over town. Area Attractions and Activities: Free shuttle to Crested Butte Ski Resort in Colorado Rocky Mountains, close to Nordic Skiing. Close to hiking, mountain biking, fishing, etc. Crested Butte sits on the doorstep of five wilderness areas, in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The former mining town has retained its Victorian character and architecture, and has added great restaurants, shops and events to keep the entire family busy and happy. Services: Sitting area with fireplace, outdoor hot tub with views, sauna, WiFi Internet access Most Popular Rooms: Our comfortable rooms have private bathrooms and are individually furnished with comforters or quilts, pine furniture and rocking chairs. All rooms have telephones. Our smaller rooms have one queen bed and our larger rooms have one queen and one double bed or one king bed. |
