Looking for child-friendly lodging? We invite you to choose our Salmon, ID, bed and breakfast instead. We, Sharon and David Osgood, innkeepers at the Greyhouse Inn B&B, extend our warmest heartfelt greetings.

We take special pride in making your stay interesting, warm, friendly and comfortable. And that isn't all. Wait until you sit down to our country breakfast - berry or banana pancakes, Belgian waffles, and fresh ranch eggs, served with juice, freshly ground coffee, tea or milk. Take a look at the variety of accommodations we offer in our country inn - cozy, charming rooms in the Victorian house, charming privacy in the Carriage House, and rustic charm in our Lewis and Clark Idaho cabins.

A short distance from the main house, the Carriage House offers charm and privacy, and all the comforts of home including TV & VCR and private bath. The two beds, one full and one queen, insure restful sleep with down mattresses and comforters.

Or spend a few peaceful days in one of our charming Idaho cabins. The perfect base camp for your rustic getaway, the cabins feature queen size beds, colorful quilts and private baths. Rustic log furnishings complete the mountain explorer ambiance.

Try the new Lemhi Shoshone and the Trapper cabins. Truly outstanding, they feature interiors and exteriors of solid wood, modeled on historic cabins in a Montana ghost town close to the Inn.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The Salmon River and surrounding mountains give us unique, unsurpassed natural beauty with many interesting places to visit. So, while you are here, we suggest you try white water rafting on the Salmon River. We can arrange your float trip with one of our local river guides for a half day, full day, or several days.

If white water is not your "bag," perhaps horseback riding will tickle your fancy. We can arrange it. Ask us about our package deals!

Do we have your attention yet? If not, try our steelhead fishing, big game hunting, hiking, hot spring bathing, birding - it's all here. We've had visitors celebrate anniversaries, get married, and even give birth to a baby at the Inn, though we don't encourage that!
