 Fourteen foot ceilings, luxurious antique bathtubs, antique light fixtures and Tiffany decor throughout our Bed and Breakfast! A 70-foot by 12-foot wraparound porch with a swing eagerly awaits your arrival! Enjoy a unique gourmet breakfast each morning in our large and bright dining room! Fresh coffee, tea and juice will also be served. The details of old fashioned romance are also attended to, from Starlight Pines' fine soaps, to bubble bath for the clawfoot tubs, to fresh flowers in every room! We also take pride in RECYCLING and CONSERVING our natural resources whenever and where ever possible! We also have 2 lovely and very friendly little Shih Tzu boys, Mooshu and Taz. They are brothers and are now going on 9 years old! Our newest addition, Baxter, is a Puggle (Pug and Beagle) Area Attractions and Activities: Lowell Observatory - History and stargazing meet on the 109-year-old Mars Hill campus where Pluto was discovered. Visit the wonderful interactive exhibit hall, or attend an evening program with telescope viewing and a discussion of the night sky. Grand Canyon - One of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon is simply spectacular. Incomparable vistas, unparalleled hiking, remarkable architecture, amazing wildlife, extraordinary history... what more can we say? Sedona, hiking, biking, Sunset Crater, Lowell Observatory, museums, theaters, symphony, local festivals, Wupatki National Canyon, Meteor Crater, stargazing, golfing and much more! Services: Fireplaces, 14 foot ceilings, views of Mt. Elden, wraparound porch, Tiffany decor throughout, Wi-Fi! Most Popular Rooms: Dragonfly Room: Romance is the key to this room where you can watch the pines rustle in the breeze as a fire flickers in the brass-trimmed Victorian wood (Pine) burning fireplace. Relax in the 6' long clawfoot tub or loll in the queen size oak bed! Lily Room: Rich in warm maple furnishings and Tiffany Lily lamps. Read a long-awaited book while lounging on the 1894 San Rafael fainting couch, or watch the sun set on Elden Mountain (a stunning view, indeed) from your private balcony.
