Area Attractions and Activities:
The Auberge is located in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal, which offers a wonderful window on everyday life in Montreal. The Plateau is an area of unique architecture. Here you can find outdoor staircases in a wide variety of styles as well as finely wrought balconies and a network of inter-connected lane ways.

In addition to being a much sought after residential area with its tree-lined streets and brightly colored homes, the Plateau is known for its very present commercial character especially on Mont-Royal Avenue, Saint-Denis Street and Saint-Laurent Boulevard. An important cultural centre, the Plateau also contains the largest concentration of cultural activities in the entire metropolitan area (theatres, bookstores, shows, cafes, bars, dance, etc.). Also, the Plateau is well renowned for the conviviality of its lively residents.
