Bed and Breakfast Description

Situated on a hill overlooking the spectacular Pochuck Creek Valley, our beautifully restored 1855 Victorian Farmhouse is well known for its warmth and comfort. We are located at the bottom of Glenwood Mountain and are surrounded by natural beauty!

All of our bedrooms are furnished with antiques and feature amenities such as queen canopy beds, private baths and A/C. Our Cottage Suites and The Misty Valley Suite feature heavenly Victorian or canopy beds, large private baths with a whirlpool tubs for two, separate tile showers and plenty of candles!

Hearty Country Breakfast served at your convenience in either our formal dining room or outside on the front porch overlooking the valley below. Our Cottage Suites may choose breakfast delivered to their rooms. Having lived here all of our lives, we can tell you about secret places to have romantic picnics or an unusual country drive, as well as the best places to dine or just hang out!

Many rooms include feather beds, gas fireplaces, cathedral ceilings, dining areas, CATV, VCR, CD player, bath robes and whirlpools for two. What better way to generate romance? And we're only an hour from NYC!

There are 450 acres of state land on the mountain behind the inn, and two beautiful, pristine mountain lakes, miles of hiking trails including The Appalachian Trail and untouched forest that await your exploration. Bring a picnic basket and backpack or borrow one of ours and spend the day sunbathing or wandering. The mountain is full of trails, an abandoned RR bed, an old quarry, the hidden remains of a mining village and abundant wildlife. Bring bug spray and boots or sneakers if you plan on really exploring! If I give you a map to this hidden spot you have to promise to keep it to yourself! This is just for my guests and the few locals who know about it!!!

Best of all is the Warwick Drive-In Theatre! Playing the newest releases on 3 large screens, often double features for only $7.50 per person.
