Bed and Breakfast Description

Historic Cape Cod with three story front that was finished in circa 1940. Post-Depression era furniture reminiscent of Grandma's house. The living room has a working Zenith tube radio and antique furniture.
There are five guest accommodations including two garden-level guest suites and three main-floor bedrooms. The Fir Tree Lodge is decorated in Wyoming hunting style. The Palm Tree Court is decorated with palm trees and flamingos and has 1940's Art Deco furnishings. Both suites include sitting rooms with fireplaces, kitchenettes, breakfast nooks, private bedrooms with queen beds, bathrooms and closets.
The three bedrooms are the Country Vine Room, the Green Ivy Room and the Blue Rose Room. They are on the main floor, and share a guest kitchen and two guest bathrooms along with an office and two dining rooms. These rooms are all decorated thematically. One room has a handicap ramp from the off-street parking. Another room has a balcony and fireplace.
All rooms and suites come with use of the hot tub, complimentary full breakfast, Internet access, sitting rooms with TV, VCRs.
The Ivy House Inn is close to downtown and business friendly. It is close to restaurants, attractions, and is on the list of haunted bed and breakfasts.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Being in Central Wyoming, the Inn is situated on the Oregon, Mormon and California Trails as well as the Pony Express. This area is at the base of the Rocky Mountains along the North Platte River. Fort Casper and the National Historic Trails Center are readily available.
Today, the trails are highways that lead to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park as well as Colorado and Montana. Casper is home to many museums, including the Tate Geological Museum, Werner Wildlife Museum, the Nicolaysen Art Museum and Adventure Center, as well as the Veteran's Memorial Museum.
Casper Mountain has downhill and cross country skiing, and wildlife watching. Alcova and Pathfinder Reservoirs offer boating, fishing and other water sports. Casper boasts city shopping and amenities available in cities much larger than the 65,000 who live here.

Our Fir Tree Lodge: Modeled after a Wyoming Hunter Cabin. It has a sitting room with fireplace, TV/VCR and queen hide-a-bed. The kitchen has a breakfast nook. The bedroom has a queen bed with moose comforter. The bathroom is "Field and Stream."
The Palm Tree Court: Decorated with 1940's Art Deco furniture. Palm trees and flamingos adorn the living room with fireplace as well as the kitchenette with chrome breakfast nook, the bedroom with '40s waterfall furniture, and private bath.
