Live like a lumber baron in this restored 1885 Victorian mansion with views of Moosehead Lake & the surrounding mountains. After a day of enjoying the Maine wilderness, let us pamper you in comfort & luxury of days gone by. The inn is furnished with oak & cherry paneling, tiled fireplaces, carved mantels, original Lincrusta wall coverings & original light fixtures. The massive leaded glass window of a spruce tree is a focal point of the inn & the staircase.

All our accommodations are decorated with your comfort in mind, from the two person whirlpool bath to the marble showers. The 4 guestrooms, 3 suites & 6 cottages, all with private baths, are furnished with attention to every detail & comfort.

Our new Tower Suite was created as a romantic, luxury respite. Enjoy a fire while being massaged in our two person whirlpool bath. In summer, relax on the verandah & enjoy the gardens.

Breakfast is a delicious buffet with homemade pastries & breads, a selection of fresh fruits & juices, daily hot specialties, yogurt, homemade granola & cereal, gourmet coffees & tea.

The Inn is open year round for lodging & seasonally for dinner. Our chef will delight you with a gourmet menu prepared & served in the fine dining tradition. The Inn is known for its impressive wine cellar & legendary desserts.
