Bed and Breakfast Description

Guilford, Maine bed and breakfast: The Trebor Mansion Inn

Three acres of hilltop lawns with mature oaks and sugar maples look down on the the Piscataquis River, and guests are welcome to laze about on the verandah or take a stroll about the grounds. There are picnic areas, swings and benches for enjoyment and relaxation. Or saunter 400 feet or so down to the historic Carnegie Library on our front lawn. The guests have the run of the Inn---a 5000 square foot structure, private from the owners quarters---with a verandah, a wrap-around porch, and four balconies. Artwork, books and eclectic furnishings can be found in every room. Guests are given as much space as they desire. The atmosphere is informal. You may do as you please.

The grounds are ideal for any event requiring a little class, or a lot if you prefer. In the event that the weather fails to cooperate, the Inn can accommodate up to 50 guests comfortably on the first floor---Yes, even a wedding! A procession down the Grand Stair would make a memorable entrance for a bride! For those feeling an special sense of urgency, there is a Justice of the Peace next door.
