Bed and Breakfast Description

Algodones, New Mexico bed and breakfast: Hacienda Vargas B&B Inn

The only bed and breakfast New Mexico Inn along the historic El Camino Real. Nestled in the Rio Grande Valley in the village of Algodones, the Inn continues to greet travelers and pilgrims in need of lodging the same as it has since the 17th century.

Because of its convenient location between Albuqureque and Santa Fe, the Inn has evolved into a romantic getaway for both New Mexicans and out-of-state visitors. Many pledge their devotion to each other by exchanging marital vows in the Hacienda Vargas Chapel, and spend their wedding night in one of the suites with a private Jacuzzi and authentic Kiva fireplace. The adobe chapel, unchanged since its construction, has witnessed weddings on many occasions.

The owners/innkeepers, Cynthia and Richard have made a commitment to maintain the historical aura and ambiance of the Inn while providing warm hospitality to all their guests. They will delight you with a bountiful breakfast, and will cate to special dietary requests.

We have inside meeting space, an inner courtyard and a large yard that is available for business meetings, executive retreats, company banquets, cocktail receptions, seminars, concerts, dinner parties and garden parties. We can accommodate large meetings outside for up to 200 people and inside meetings for up to 40 people. We do small intimate New Mexico weddings from just the couple to large events of up to 300. We can do small weddings (up to 15) in our historic 200 year old adobe Santa Fe chapel.
