Lenox, Massachusetts bed and breakfast: Birchwood Inn
Antiques, collectibles, featherbeds, quilts, and down comforters are very much at home in our romantic Colonial Revival bed and breakfast mansion, the only Lenox, MA, inn on the National Register of Historic Places. Secluded among white birches, stately oaks, and towering pines, Birchwood Inn Bed and Breakfast has the pastoral stillness of a country morning yet is only a short walk from the celebrated restaurants, shops, and galleries of historic Lenox village.

The Berkshires abound not only with world-class cultural events but also with a plethora of extraordinary culinary experiences with chefs, bakers, oeniphiles, and a chocolatier as maestros of their own kitchens and wine cellars, orchestrating decadent and intoxicating creations. Perhaps you would like to indulge in the sensual adventures of the Berkshires with a “Fun for Foodies Vacation”?

Birchwood Inn's eleven comfortably decorated guest rooms are named after previous residents of the mansion, dating back to 1767. All guest rooms have private baths, A/C (seasonal), telephones, and hairdryers, and six have fireplaces and television. All guest rooms in the mansion have free high-speed Internet access.

Your mother told you that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and we like to think that mother was right! We use only the freshest ingredients in our homemade breads and muffins, fruits and entrées, and take special pride in preparing and serving our full country breakfast each morning.
