Welcome to the Miramonte. Enjoy our lovely welcoming wraparound porch. There are over 1,000 daffodils in our garden, come and see for yourself!

This historic Bar Harbor bed and breakfast inn reflects the grace and beauty of the mid-Victorian time. Each room, named for a popular hotel of the era, has a fireplace and/or balcony and is uniquely styled with antique and period furnishings. The romantic atmosphere is said to be “like our favorite grandmother’s house”: friendly, welcoming, cheerful and interesting with its wealth of period wallpapers, designed to take you away from the sameness of many modern homes.

The sense of times past blends with the needs of today’s world, with all possible modern amenities. (All the things the Victorians would have had if they could). The morning full-breakfast buffet gets rave reviews; guests can choose to eat family style in the formal dining room, on the terrace, the breakfast porch, or in their own room.
