Bed and Breakfast Description

Laurel, Mississippi bed and breakfast: Wisteria B&B

Step back in time to the charm of the Old South. Wisteria (the Gardiner-Schneider House) was built in 1900 of cypress and heart pine for one of of the town of Laurel's founding fathers, Silas Gardiner, an owner of Eastman - Gardiner Lumber Co.

This elegant Colonial Revival home opened as a bed and breakfast in 2004. Family heirlooms, period furnishings, exquisite hand-made leaded and beveled glass windows are featured. Guests enjoy freshly brewed morning coffee when they awaken. A leisurely gourmet breakfast on fine china with crystal, silver and linens is served in the sunny breakfast room, in the formal dining room, or on the veranda, where sounds of chimes can be heard from a nearby church
