Bed and Breakfast Description

A special place awaits you as you drive up to the beautiful grounds of Quiet Walker Lodge. Nestled in the woods of the Mississippi River Valley is the Bed and Breakfast Inn where the peacefulness of the countryside will relax and unwind you.
The smell of homemade speciality breads fill the air as you enter your room. We also provide complimentary drinks, cheese, crackers and fruit to nibble on as an appetizer before you dine at one of the many restaurants in Dubuque or the surrounding area.
The lodge has seven themed suites with private baths. Most of the suites have large garden tubs. After a restful night sleep you will dine in the main lodge on a hearty breakfast including fresh brewed coffee, specialty teas and juice. (If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know so we can accomodate your needs.) Breakfast is served in the great room dining area at 9 AM.

One of our most popular rooms is the Moonlight and Roses. This room features a bubble up garden tub. The room is surrounded by glass so that guests can enjoy the beautiful 5 acre forest reserve. this room includes a private patio area.

Sleeping Bear Den: Tucked away in the loft, enjoy the seclusion of the enclosed bedroom and bath. Warm earth tones with nature accents compliment the décor. Queen size log bed, a "bear" fan and rustic theme make this hideaway a popular room.
