Bed and Breakfast Description

Purchased by Lorna and Albert Jeyte in 1986, the lodge buildings were refurbished to welcome visitors from all over the world. The guestrooms reflect upcountry charm with a commitment to warmth and peacefulness. Hot tub. 28 miles from Hilo.

Kilauea Lodge is well known for owner-chef Albert Jeyte's continental cuisine with a touch of local flavors. His specialties include European favorites: hasenpfeffer, venison, and duck, and there's always fresh fish from deep Big Island waters. All entrees include soup and salad. A thoughtful wine list, helpful staff, dining room filled with Hawaii theme art and a comforting fire in the historic fireplace (remember this is mountain country) make Kilauea Lodge a memorable experience.
