Bed and Breakfast Description

This 154 year-old mansion offers the classic elegance of a 19th century home as well as the convenience and technology of a 21st century inn.

All rooms are furnished with the plushest of linens and 275 thread-count sheets. Down-like pillows and pillow top mattresses will surely allow for a restful night's sleep. Every room is furnished with the richest and most intricate of hand-carved hardwood furniture to accent the hardwood floors throughout the home.

An upgraded, deluxe cook-to-order breakfast is served every morning, with the Innkeepers taking special requests. The living and dining rooms are very open and perfect for socializing outside of one's room.

Rich in history, this bed and breakfast is tucked away on 3 acres of land. Guests can enjoy a walk in our English Garden featuring 25 species of trees not native to Virginia, and an English Boxwood maze over 100 years old. The beautiful fishpond featuring a waterfall and fountain is a lovely place to relax and enjoy bird watching.

Located in Christiansburg, Virginia the heart of the New River Valley just off of Interstate 81, the Inn is just minutes from Blacksburg, home of Virginia Tech, and Radford University. The New River Valley has much to offer her visitors. The Blue Ridge Parkway and local wineries are just a few short miles away. We are close to various biking and hiking trails like the Huckleberry Bike Trail and the Cascades Waterfall. You can visit New River Valley Mall just minutes away and home to many fine restaurants, movie theatres, shopping, and various antique malls. Christiansburg is home to one of the states last remaining Drive In Theatres, The Starlight Drive Inn.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is 469 miles of scenic roadway that connects the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia with the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina and Tennessee.

Chateau Morrisette Winery, Mountain Lake, Cascades National Recreation Trail and Huckleberry Trail are all wonderful places to visit too.

Montgomery Suite: As lush as the hills it was named for. This large suite is adorned in gold and cream. The oversized bathroom with a 72 inch jetted tub is what makes this suite so inviting. A large walk-in shower is surrounded by garden view windows.

Sherwood Suite: French doors open to the Suite. This room is adorned in blues and mauves and offers a king size bed as well as a whirlpool tub in the ceramic tile bathroom. With windows looking out into the gardens, this peaceful room is sure to please.
