The Allen House is one of the finest examples of stick style architecture remaining in the world today, located on three scenic acres across the road from the Emily Dickinson homestead. Until the late nineteenth century, the Allen House property was part of the original Emily Dickinson family farmland. We welcome you to enjoy the enchanting Victorian splendor and gracious hospitality of our inn. An elegant five-course breakfast featuring fresh seasonal fruit, homebaked specialties and sumptuous entrees is served at guests' convenience. Tea and refreshments are served from 4 o'clock in the afternoon until 10 o'clock in the evening. We enjoy our guests and love preparing little surprises...from a romantic rose on the pillow to a basket bouquet of flowers… fine chocolates, champagne, or wine… for your special someone. Be it your honeymoon, anniversary, Valentine's Day, Birthday, or getaway; please let us know how we can make your visit special.
