Old Crocker Inn is a B&B set on an historic five-acre ranch above the Alexander Valley in Sonoma County, California. Relax in a quiet country setting, with all the amenities of a deluxe hotel.

Bed and Breakfast Description

Peaceful, serene, luxurious. Watch the sun set from your private deck, and listen to the myriad of wild birds. As the evening wanes, the stars sparkle in the sky, and you step in to your private room to relax in cozy recliners in front of a flickering fire.

Kristin and Scott Roberts purchased the property in 2000 and remodeled the buildings with new foundations, modern septic systems, electrical wiring and central heating. In 2003, the Roberts moved to Panama and sold the ranch to Susan and Michel Degive, who did further remodeling, decorating and opened the Old Crocker Inn for business in April of 2004. Eager to try new projects, the Degives sold the ranch and inn in late 2005 to Marcia and Tony Babb of Menlo Park, who continue to operate the inn as a unique country bed and breakfast.

Our accommodations are all beautifully unique. The large lodge rooms feature stunning features that include, king-sized beds, restored clawfoot bathtubs, bathroom amenities, plush spa towels and robes, central air conditioning and heat, gas fireplaces, cable television with DVD players, high speed internet access and a full breakfast!

Lake Sonoma is less than fifteen minutes away in the coastal oak-studded foothills. You can hike, swim, ride, boat, camp, fish and hunt at this beautiful lake. The Visitor Center and Fish Hatchery are open year round.

Area Attractions and Activities:

The Old Crocker Inn has much to offer during your stay in wine country. Lounge by the pool, soak in the hot tub, have a massage in your room or watch deer, turkey and duck wander through the meadow.

Within a few miles of the inn, dozens of family wineries are open for tastings. The nearby town of Healdsburg has a public plaza with boutiques, antique shops and world-class restaurants. While you are here you can hike in the Armstrong redwood forest, bike through vineyards, ride a horse on the beach at Bodega Bay, or canoe down the Russian River or boat on Lake Sonoma.

Huntington Room: This commanding king size 4 poster oak bed would well have suited the strong-willed and gregarious Collis Huntington. Private deck seating, gas fireplace.
