Our 8 comfortable and individually decorated guest rooms reflect the grace and elegance of our historic building while providing modern amenities for your comfort, individually appointed for your comfort and convenience while reflecting the warmth and elegance of our very special building. Enjoy our many antiques and reproductions, nostalgia pieces and thoughtful touches. The Greek Revival building that now greets you, built in 1840, not only has marble columns lining the front porch, but a marble foundation, porches and walkways as well.

Each room also offers its own view of our splendid setting. King, queen, double or twin beds are available. Some rooms have four-poster beds and comfortable sitting areas. All rooms have private bath. Our 2-room suite offers a fireplace, lovely bay window and a queen bed. All rooms are air-conditioned.

Each morning, enjoy a delicious 3-course breakfast. Sammi's culinary magic is just one of the many things that keep guests returning to the Marble West Inn again and again. Our specially selected menu changes daily. Fruit, fresh muffins, and a main course that might include Sammi's Croissant Stuffed French Toast, a variety of Fritatas or Strawberry Walnut Pancakes. Coffee, tea, flavored cocoa, and fresh selection of juices accompany your meal.

Relax with a good book next to one of our marble fireplaces or enjoy skiing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing all just minutes from the Inn.

In warmer weather, enjoy hiking on the Appalachian Trail, biking on Vermont's backroads through covered bridges. Golf, tennis, canoeing are close by or just relax on a hammock next to our trout ponds while listening to the gently rolling stream that surrounds our property. You won't believe how relaxing our Inn is!

Most Popular Rooms:

Dorset: As you walk into this room, you are greeted by a beautiful view of the back lawn and pond. Furnished with a king sized four poster rice bed and comfortable chairs to take in the views.

The West Suite: Walk into your own large sitting area with marble fireplace, bay window, comfortable chairs. Play romantic music on your private music system or grab a good book from the century old bookshelves. Enjoy a separate bedroom and large bath.
