Bed and Breakfast Description

Long regarded as one of the very best restaurants in Northern Virginia, the inn offers a daily menu that is limited, thoughtful, and in spring and summer, inspired by its own gardens.

The inn’s guestrooms vary in size and decor. Each is furnished with 19th-century pieces, including four poster beds, hand-painted wardrobes, quilts, Oriental rugs and blanket chests.

Lafayette Room: Located at our School House. Offering sweeping views of the Blue Ridge foothills from a large window seat. Queen size bed, seasonal wood-burning fireplace, private porch, television, telephone. Full private bath, sunken tub.

Fan Room: Private entrance, balcony, Paladian window, handmade fan bed. Sweeping views of perennial gardens and the Blue Ridge foothills.
