Bed and Breakfast Description

Brooksville, Maine bed and breakfast: Oakland House Seaside Resort

This is "Old Maine at its Best," Sunday Eagle-Tribune, September 25, 2005. In the heart of the Blue Hill Peninsula.

Yankee Magazine's Travel Guide to New England, '2003 Editors Pick.' As spectacular a location to view a sunset as any on the coast of Maine. Lawn games, barn rec. room, rowboats. Also, Yankee Magazine, April 2002 lists us as "one of 12 Best Spots To Dine on the coast of New England."

While dinner is not included in rates for a room at the seaside inn; it is in cottage rates. It can be added. The food is so good that you'll probably want to stay and save the bother of driving to another nearby restaurant.

We have 15 cottages, all different! An example:
Boathouse Cottage: Once a boathouse right on the ocean's edge, now with living room, fireplace, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, full bath and deck.

Specials change frequently: schooner trips, lobster and cruise getaways. Honeymoons! Family reunions!
