This Historic home was originally built in 1890 as a boarding house during the heyday of the steamboats of Maryland's Eastern Shore. It has been meticulously restored and uniquely decorated with fine antiques, original family art, and classic treasures that evokes the warmth and charm of Tilghman Island.

Your room is designed for your comfort and delight and kept immaculately clean by the experienced and caring housekeeping staff. The Inn has six romantically furnished guest rooms and one cottage, meticulously restored and uniquely decorated with fine antiques and classic treasures. All guest rooms offer a gourmet breakfast, private bath, guest controlled heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans and windows that open so you can enjoy Tilghman's fresh, clean air. Your room may have breathtaking views of Dogwood harbor and the Chesapeake Bay.

Each morning, breakfast is an event to be savored, delicious, artfully prepared, and graciously presented. Inn guests have exclusive reservations for dinner in the dining room. The cuisine is typically American with influences from Europe and Asia with emphasis on acquiring the best ingredients for the recipes, including fresh local farm produce and locally caught seafood.

Area Attractions and Activities:
Tilghman Island, only three square miles, is easily accessible yet remote enough to properly stem the tide of everyday cares. When you cross over the drawbridge you'll be greeted by the nineteenth century charm of a true waterman's village. You can stroll to several shops and restaurants on the Island. Tilghman Island's quiet demeanor not withstanding, activities abound. Sailing at sunset or cruising through pristine waterscapes aboard an historic skipjack is a singular Chesapeake Bay experience.
