Bed and Breakfast Description

Cape May, New Jersey bed and breakfast: John F. Craig House

Initially you come to the John F. Craig House because of its great location, one block to the beach and town center. But the fun doesn't stop there... Open all year, the Craig House is the home of Barbara and Chip Masemore with their whimsical collections and family heirlooms. It is your home when you come to Cape May.

Built in 1866, the Craig House Bed and Breakfast is a Victorian Inn with a casual and relaxing atmosphere. Award winning breakfast, afternoon refreshments and all the amenities you expect - and more! The Inn offers open porches for Cape May's warmer months, glassed-in porches and the warm glow of a parlor fireplace in the cooler seasons.

All rooms at the John F. Craig House have beautiful antique furnishings but with the comfort and convenience today's traveler expects. What you may not expect is the whimsy and fun from Barbara and Chip's collections at this unique bed & breakfast. Each room has a private bath, individually controlled air conditioning and heat, cable TV with VCR and HBO, coffee makers, refrigerators, hair dryers, irons, fireplaces.

Breakfast and "tea time" at the John F. Craig House are some of the best times at the inn. Guests accuse us of using the fragrances of early morning as their wake-up call, but there is never a rush. We serve a buffet breakfast between 8:30 and 10. You can either join other guests in the dining room or take a tray to the porch.
