Bed and Breakfast Description

Putney, Vermont bed and breakfast: Hickory Ridge House

The rooms in our Vermont bed and breakfast inn are spacious with fine natural light. Ceilings are high. And most have in-room woodburning fireplaces. Wonderful, cozy fireplace rooms and a breakfast like no other. Friendly, warm hosts, and lots to do in the area.

Enjoy a hearty country breakfast -- fresh baked muffins and breads, omelets or pancakes with Vermont maple syrup -- on our outdoor deck overlooking the flower gardens and meadow, or when the temperatures cool, in front of our wood burning stove.

On weekends, join us in the afternoon for a cup of tea with freshly baked cakes, or hot apple cider and warm cookies. When you get here, let us spoil you.

In summer, Hickory Ridge House is in flower, and you'll find lots of perennials and herbs in our colorful and fragrant gardens. Walk to a stream that spills into a local Vermont swimming hole and runs along a country trail perfect for biking and hiking, or plan to golf Vermont's quality courses.
