Blumenthal Farms B&B
Fredericksburg, Texas.
Blumenthal Farms backs up to the meandering Pedernales River. You can stroll down to the river and bird-watch or wade in the cool shallow waters. Come visit the beautiful Hill Country area and relax in a rustic old German-built saloon.
Bed and Breakfast Description

Blumenthal Farms is located on U.S. Hwy. 290 five miles out of Stonewall and about 10 minutes from Fredericksburg where you can shop "until-you-drop." We are just a "hop-skip-and a jump" from Luckenbach and there are many attractions within short driving distance .
Founded in the late 1800's by the Hohenberger brothers, this was a small agricultural business in the Blumenthal community near Fredericksburg, Texas. There was a cotton gin, a blacksmith shop, and the saloon. A new saloon was built in 1908 with the hopes that it would make a go as a dance hall also, but it was not successful. According to those who still remember, the new saloon became a store and gas station. The old saloon stayed opened.
Time changes things and today the cotton gin and the blacksmith shop no longer stand at Blumenthal. The old steam engine that ran the cotton gin, the general store, the saloon, the old smokehouse, and the family home still remain. Today, the old saloons house a bed and breakfast establishment.
A full breakfast is served to guarantee that you will not go away hungry!
We are within close driving distance to many area attractions. LBJ Park, Enchanted Rock, Pedernales Falls, the Nimitz Museum, and Luckenbach are just a few.
