Bed and Breakfast Description

The Olive Branch Inn, formerly the Joseph M. Lindley House, was built in 1889 by one of Bozeman's early pioneers. It is a charming and distinctive Victorian Manor house listed on the National Historic Register and located close to the downtown area, within walking distance of the University, theaters, fine restaurants, quaint shops and galleries. The house has undergone a complete restoration, with dramatic French wall coverings, antique beds, fireplaces, stained glass windows and an enclosed English garden. Each of our guest rooms is appointed with the highest quality linens, luxurious down comforters, feather pillows, plush terry-cloth robes, hair dryers, and custom soaps... well deserved pampering for an unforgettable experience.

Awaken leisurely to the aroma of freshly ground coffee or choose from a selection of organic teas. Enjoy a selection of organic cereals, granola, yogurt, and fruit in our gracious dining room, or take a short walk two blocks to historic Main Street where a free breakfast will be provided at a locally owned cafe. After your breakfast take a stroll down Lindley Place, a tree-lined avenue filled with quaint houses depicting Bozeman's history. Past grandeur has been uniquely captured through the use of romantic fabrics, rich and bold papers, unusual antiques, the warmth of natural woods, and a fine sense of creative color and design. Care has been taken to preserve the architectural authenticity, while providing present day comforts and conveniences.

Nestled in the heart of the Rockies in the beautiful Gallatin Valley, Bozeman offers many outdoor activities including fly fishing, skiing, hiking, hunting, rafting, and canoeing. Pristine rivers and spectacular wilderness trails are only minutes away, while Yellowstone and Glacier Parks are within a day's drive. Local attractions include Shakespeare in the Parks, the summer Farmer's Market, outdoor band concerts, the annual Sweet Pea Festival and the Museum of the Rockies.
