Bed and Breakfast Description

Built in 1840 and enlarged in circa 1900, the Wilbraham Mansion is truly a home of expansive proportions. An integral part of Cape May's historic homes and mansions tours for years, the Wilbraham Mansion remained a private residence until 1988.

John Wilbraham, a wealthy Philadelphia industrialist, brought Victorian style into this magnificent home. Today, the mansion retains the ambiance and time-honored tradition in grandeur, combining elegance, comfort and a relaxed atmosphere. You'll step back in time with our period reproduction wallpapers and some of the original furnishings of the Wilbraham family.

The Wilbraham Mansion offers more than the typical comforts of a Bed & Breakfast. Our 20 x 40 foot indoor heated pool represents an amenity no other B&B can offer. Most Popular Rooms:

Very large king suite: Hanging of blue moiré, lace curtains, antique chest, dressing table & chair. Victorian sitting area w/settee, fainting couch, chairs, tables & corner cabinet. Separate tub/soaking area in suite, private entrance, mini fridge.

Queen suite: Two rooms. The bedroom has an antique, high backed mahogany queen bed, matching dresser and upholstered Victorian armchair. The sitting room has Wilbraham Federal style chairs, a tea table, lamp with mirror above and a dry sink.

Check In Instructions:

Guests arriving after 6pm we will have self check instructions awaiting you upon arrival in a basket on the front porch.
