A premier example of a northeast Connecticut historic inn, and boasts a sophisticated mix of modern amenities and antique charm. The spacious guest rooms feature Queen canopy or four-poster beds, ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, cable TV, wireless or dial-up internet access, and nightly turndown service with chocolates, just to mention a few of the amenities.

One bedchamber has a wood-burning fireplace, as does the living room where guests can gather to socialize, enjoy afternoon tea and other goodies, or quietly read by the fire. In summer, guests sit under our beautiful maple trees overlooking the classical garden. Attention to detail and the personal comfort of our guests are hallmarks of the Fitch House B&B.

The innkeepers, Kay and Tony Holt, are deeply committed to making guests feel comfortable and to introducing guests to the area’s many attractions. They are knowledgeable about the history of the house and the area.

Proximity to the University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University (about 3-4 miles for each) brings to guests many activities including, but not limited to, the following: museums, concerts, summer theater, UCONN ice cream and UCONN basketball!
