In the heart of the Green Woods lay the quintessential New England Village of Norfolk. This little center of culture is part of the distinct charms of Connecticut’s Litchfield County, and is in close proximity to the Berkshires and New York’s Columbia and Dutchess Counties.

For the romantic, there are horse drawn carriage and sleigh rides, gourmet picnic baskets and luxurious spa services. Manor House is one of the best bed and breakfasts in Connecticut.

Allow us to arrange ‘in-room’ spa services for you! After a long journey, or a stressful week a long luxurious massage in front of your in-room fire place is just the thing you need. Norfolk boasts several accomplished masseuses to choose from. Our Innkeeper is happy to book these in advance for you.

Awake to the smells of homemade breads and freshly brewed coffee. Our Full Country Breakfast I served in the dining room, or if you prefer, in bed. From 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM

It is all made hot, to order, and just to your liking. With all the changing needs in diets these days, we aim to offer you the opportunity to splurge with delicious entrees or a healthy regimen. Just let us know how you prefer it!

The Victorian Room: A wonderful romantic escape with a king size sleigh bed and large sitting area surrounding a gas burning fireplace. Soak in the curtained two person whirlpool and shower while star gazing through the skylight.

The English Room: Spacious with sitting area and king size four poster bed. The large bathroom area suggests a romantic retreat with two person whirlpool and lace curtains. You will also find a sink built into an antique dresser and a separate shower.
