Bed and Breakfast Description

The Inn was built in 1986 with the look, the charm, and feel of a 1930s vintage home with all the qualities of a new structure. For your safety, the Inn was built to fire code and there is insulation between all guest rooms for privacy.

On this site once stood the home of Dr. Irwin Pope, the son of one of Tyler’s first doctors. Although the original house burned down, Rosevine Inn Guest House was built to replicate a 1930s style home and designed to accommodate guests. The site was chosen because of the beautiful, spacious grounds as well as its convenience to the city’s attractions.

Rosevine Inn also includes a restored 1934 cottage which features the Sherlock Holmes Suite. It is, of course, decorated in the old English style. (If you are a sleuth, perhaps you will find the hidden door to receive a gift.)

All guests are welcome to play billiards, darts, lots of board games, horseshoes, washers, badminton, volleyball and more! The game room is open 10 am till 10 pm. From mid-September to mid-June, fireplaces burn regularly in the game room and courtyard. The outdoor hot tub is available to all guests.

Rosevine Inn offers five rooms and one suite. The guest rooms are cheerfully decorated with antiques and wallpaper and each room has a private bath. Two rooms have a queen-size bed, one has a high back antique double bed and one has two 3/4 size beds. Two rooms and two suites are available for monthly tenancy only.

Most Popular Rooms:

Sherlock Holmes Suite: Luxurious and comfortable. It includes a fireplace in the bedroom, living area with stereo and TV/VCR. Very quiet and relaxing.

Rose Room: Cheerfully decorated with antiques and wallpaper in rose shades. Room has a private bath.
