Bed and Breakfast Description

On Maui Island, Hana is the most authentic Hawaiian town.

In Hana, stay at a 27-acre Hawaiian country farm/ranch featuring a tropical botanical garden. Guests are welcome to wander through it, enjoy its splendor, and to bring a picnic.

Hana Maui Bed & Breakfast is within the Botanical Garden. A duplex with two studios is a stone's throw from the ranch house. Each has a private bath, kitchen, carport, picnic lanai, and all gas appliances with solar electricity. Electricity conservation is needed and very important for the batteries. Both studios are theme decorated. The Flower Studio has a queen bed. The Marine Studio also has a queen bed. Both studios are supplied with coffee, tea, cocoa, and a few goodies. Pick your own tropical fruit!

Driving the 54 mile scenic Hana Highway to reach us, walk our 10 acre Public Botanical Gardens, hike down our Ulaino dirt road to swim at Blue Pond, explore the nearby Kahanu Gardens and Heiau and awesome Kaeleku Caverns, swim at Waianapanapa State Park (black sand beach, caves and trails).

Check local history at the Museum and the gift shop at Hana Maui Hotel, Koki Beach (surfing), Hamoa Beach (Mark Twain said it was the prettiest), Haleakala National Park (Seven pools and hike to the waterfall), horse back riding available, picture taking, bird watching and listening to the grass grow on the farm.

Most Popular Rooms:

Marine Studio: Queen and twin bed ($25 extra for twin use). Decorated with ocean theme. Sea otters in the sink, fish in the blue ceiling - all fun! Cozy patio facing the gardens. Romantic and restful.

Flower Studio: Queen bed. Flowers everywhere, you're in the Garden in your room. It has its own lanai and carport. Comfy rocking chairs to relax and dream.
