Bed and Breakfast Description

Our hidden backyard garden is available to all guests, complete with flowers, trees, greenery and fruit trees for you to enjoy. A quaint cottage which was converted into the spa room where massages and treatments are offered. The Solvang Gardens Lodge is two blocks from the center of town in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Enjoy sitting in the gardens among the fruit trees and the many flowers planted in the garden.

Solvang is a quaint Danish village 35 minutes north of Santa Barbara. Unique shops with European gifts and fine restaurants are located within blocks of the property.The Santa Ynez Valley is well known for the many wineries and wine tasting rooms (Packages available). Many people visit Solvang to shop and to get away from the congested city. Experience the Valley by bicycling, gliding or horse back riding. At a few miles from Solvang we also have lake Cachuma for fishing and boating.

Most Popular Rooms:

Wild Poppy: Our most spacious and private room with a king bed. Upstairs studio suite with cathedral ceiling, sitting area, full kitchen and private deck with view of the mountains and English gardens. Electric stove and decorated in an western motif.

Honeysuckle:Located in the back building by an outdoor water fountain. It has a living room with TV and fireplace and in the bedroom a king bed and another television. The bathroom has a dual sink and a Jacuzzi tub. The most desired room for honeymooners.
