Bed and Breakfast Description

Covered porches with swing and rockers and private grounds set the scene for the perfect island retreat. The Inn, constructed in 1925, was the home of Captain Thurston Gaskill for 75 years. Capt. Gaskill, a native guide, took folks fishing for channel bass, cobia, mackeral and duck hunting.

Local guides still enjoy these same pastimes today. The Thurston House is tucked into a shady grove of cedars, oaks, and wisteria vines in the heart of the Village.
