Bed and Breakfast Description

Located in Rockport's historic district, just a few minutes walk to the center of town, the Inn offers 8 guest rooms, all with private baths. Each is decorated with period antiques, as is the living room and dining room, creating a decor and charm unique to the Sally Webster. With its 6 fireplaces, original wide plank pine floors, authentic period moldings, herringbone brick terraces, and colonial flower garden, the Inn provides a home away from home, whether relaxing or on the go.
Enjoy a Continental Plus Breakfast on our sunny patio in warm weather or in our cozy dining room year round. Help yourself to a bowl of fresh fruit or yogurt. Try any of our assorted cheeses, jams, and jellies spread over a bagel, English muffin, or any of our various toasting breads. The real treats, however, are our home baked sweet breads, biscuits, scones, coffee cakes and turnovers. And if you're fortunate enough to be staying with us on Sunday, enjoy our famous blueberry stuffed French Toast!

William Choate, "housewright," built this graceful house in 1832. On his death in 1859, he bequeathed a share of the property to each of his 9 children. To "No.7," Sally Choate Webster, he left "the southern lower rooms in the old house together with the western attic chamber and a common privilege in the lane." As the years passed she realized total ownership of the house, and the property became known as The Sally Webster House.
