Bed and Breakfast Description

This historic Inn is Iowa's most luxurious bed and breakfast. Built in 1893, Mont Rest is nestled halfway up a 9 acre wooded bluff overlooking one of the most panoramic views of the mighty Mississippi River.

All our luxury rooms feature heated towel bars, Turtle Wear robes, hairdryers, fresh flowers and gourmet chocolates. Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages are available in our main floor kitchen, and we offer such services as in-room therapeutic massage and reflexology.

We're the perfect setting for a Honeymoon, Anniversary, or just a getaway weekend. We are also located near two of the largest gambling boats on the Mississippi.

Great River Room: Excellent view from 3 over sized windows, working fireplace, walnut Eastlake style furnishings; stained glass window and two-person Jacuzzi in private bath.

Angelic Tower Room: Round former gambling room at the top of a spiral staircase with spectacular view of the Mississippi River. Private bath with huge double shower. Queen size antique white iron bed and turn-of-the-century oak furniture.
