 The location is great for walking to all shops, restaurants and the historic waterfront. All suites are large and very private, with CATV, refrigerator, heated towel racks, hairdryer/iron, luxurious bathrobes, CD/alarm radio, flowers, and a great deal of color and charm. Most have fireplaces - some with Jacuzzis, and there is a hot tub on a private deck, and a lovely patio with fountain. A full breakfast is served each morning. Always available are: fruit, various juices, coffee/tea, fresh-baked breads, and a hot dish with added sides for a nourishing and fulfilling breakfast. Wine and cheese are often offered in the afternoons. The intent is to make guests feel both privileged, relaxed, and anxious to return. Area Attractions and Activities: Royal Folly is across the street from St. John's College and 2 blocks from the Navy Academy. While Royal Folly is a quiet haven, tours are nearby, and wonderful shopping, restaurants, and nightlife are around the corner. The famous City Dock offers boat tours, and there are boat rentals, kayaking, and sailboat schools nearby. The (oldest operating in the US) State Capitol is a block away and viewed from many rooms. King canopied pillowtop bed with luxurious duvet of gold and crimson in front of a lovely fireplace. The bathroom has a double Jacuzzi in front of another fireplace; large shower stall and bidet. Lord Dana's Suite: Very large and has a four-poster queen bed in front of a fireplace. There is a separate sitting area overlooking St. John's College.
