Bed and Breakfast Description

The Pine River Ranch, in operation since 1988, has evolved into a unique, non-traditional B&B. It offers a special getaway for those who are seeking a private, romantic stay with luxurious surroundings away from the urban clamor.

Each of the six rooms is a spacious, modern suite. With only 2 per building and breakfast delivered each morning, guests enjoy a very private and pampered getaway.

Each suite is slightly different, but all share a warm Northwestern feel with handcrafted pine beds, hand-painted wall murals, 2-person jetted tubs, river rock fireplaces and fine, richly textured linens. Kitchenettes are equipped even with espresso, entertainment areas with satellite TV and satellite music, free wireless Internet and breakfast delivered to your door... all the best in comfort and convenience.

Located in an alpine valley surrounded by panoramic mountain views, the Ranch offers acres to enjoy. In the warm months walk to the river and picnic on the private beach. Within one mile is Lake Wenatchee and an 18 hole golf course.

The winter is truly a winter wonderland. Play with free snowshoes and enjoy the hush of the valley in the winter. Ski at nearby Stevens Pass, the Ranch has discounted lift tickets, or cross country ski on nearby trails.

There are more activities than there is room to list: raft, hike, bike, fish, horseback ride, golf, ski, swim and then there are the shops, restaurants and festivals in the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth.

Area Attractions and Activities:

Each season offers a new landscape, and with it, a variety of activities. In the spring, as the snow gives away to the leaves of green, wildflowers abound. The Ranch hosts over 50 hummingbirds at the feeders on the porch, and Monarch butterflies gather on the lilac blooms. Enjoy river rafting on the Wenatchee River.

Hike on one of the many trails, mountain or road bike, lake or stream fish, rock climb, horseback ride or golf at one of the many nearby courses.

Leavenworth offers a fine summer theater program with outdoor performances. Fall brings beautiful colors, popularized by the many photographs taken of this area. Enjoy a Bavarian Oktoberfest or Autumn Leaf Festival.

As winter sets in, skis and snowshoes replace the hiking gear. See the famous Leavenworth Lighting Festival. Downhill ski at Stevens Pass, only 20 mins. from the Ranch, X-C ski or snowshoe right from your front door. Or just cuddle in front of your fireplace or soak in the tub and watch the snowflakes fall.

Nason Suite: the river rock fireplace, massive log bed and river rock enclosed whirlpool tub surround you in total luxury. A kitchenette, entertainment center, the private view & deck, cathedral ceiling and NW decor make it one of our most popular suites.

From Lodgepole Suite's sitting area and deck look out over the wildlife pond with a backdrop of mountains. A gnarly log bed, corner 2-person jetted tub and river rock fireplace (built by the owner with rock from the Ranch) rates high on the "WOW" scale.
