Southern Wind Inn in St. Augustine has 10 rooms, each uniquely and beautifully decorated in antiques, period furnishings and eclectic collectibles.

Located in the heart of St. Augustine's historic district, the inn is built of coquina masonry with columns and verandas that accent gracious southern elegance and casual relaxation.

A typical morning's fare may include either fresh apple/cinnamon and cream cheese French toast or a luxurious pineapple/macadamia nut stuffed French toast, crisp bacon and mushroom oven omelet, a delicate pineapple soufflé, savory southwest frittata, pina colada muffins, and homemade cookies.

Salt water fishing is convenient from the St. Augustine Beach pier or you can choose from a variety of deep sea fishing charters. Local guides are available for backwater, fly fishing and light tackle fishing.

Don't forget to shop! We have quaint local shops right here in the historic district. There's everything from "necessities for the soul" to antiques and specialty items.

Today St. Augustine holds the charm of all of its history from the Indians preceding the Spanish settlement to the modern day shops and cuisines. One of the delights of this old city is its compact size, walk able from stem to stern in about 20 minutes. St. George Street is a pedestrian walkway lined with quaint shops. Narrow cobbled stone streets stand ready to be explored with their inviting art shops, fine restaurants and boutiques.

Veranda Room: With a private entrance to the second story veranda, the room is beautifully appointed with period pieces and antiques. It has hardwood floors and a private bath with large tub and shower. There is a king size bed, armoire, and sitting area.
The Honeymoon Room: A lovely secluded room with a private entrance. There is a 2-person whirlpool tub with a romantic chandelier above. The room is completed in antiques, with a low poster king size bed and a walnut armoire.
