Bed and Breakfast Description

We offer 2 well appointed guest rooms both with private entrance, private bathroom, Cable TV, wireless internet and thoughtful amenities. Small pets are welcome based on prior arrangements and $5 a day fee applies.

Before or after exploring all that the Powell River area has to offer be sure to leave yourself time to enjoy the panoramic view of Malaspina Strait from our patio, or enjoy the beauty and tranquility of our gardens or, of course, cozy into our guest lounge to read up on local lore.

Stroll the beach exploring the sandbars and tide pools, plop down on a comfy perch to watch the sunset.....then after dark bask in the warm country feel of a campfire in our beachside fire pit.

Sun Catcher B&B is conveniently located to many area attractions keeping everyone entertained. Some of the exciting things to do in the area include: hiking,swimming, biking, golfing, fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, fine dining and taking a day trip to Savory Island. The 180km Sunshine Coast Trail is minutes away with off & on points located throughout. We are 10 minutes from the start of the Powell River Canoe route. Seven lakes with 4 portages. A visit to Lund is a must. The start/end of highway 101, Lund is a bustling summer fishing village on route to Desolation Sound. If music and the arts are your interest our splendid local artists are featured at 'Artique' a Powell River artists coop. The Academy of Music is home to accomplished musicians and choirs. Kathaumixw, the International Choral Festival is hosted every second year in July while SOAP, Symphoney & Opera of the Academy of the Pacific is a yearly event in June.
